the matrix
the matrix of my mind
an encounter with my mind
can you handle it?
darkness and light in a war with words
each room, different in its existence
light, dark
dark, light
it’s almost too blinding
no matter where you go
the darkness is deep, unseen
the light lives at the surface, unique
rays displayed across an array of me
brain patterns in waves, lost in an amazing sea
you will forever be the only one who sees
what’s deep inside of these
mind driven spirals; you hold the keys
I’ve given you full access to these pages
plug in, take this, enter my matrix
there are no zeros here, only one
that’s you
as you meander this maze
recall all the things I always say
the mistakes we’ve made
the days we’ve played
the memories are there if you decide to stay
so as we have placement in our lines
I welcome you to the matrix of my mind
it’s where I’ve created all my rhymes
and we’ve related for all time
you are what matters now
you have the ladders now
so, if you so choose to make this
yours
I again, welcome you to my matrix.

The only question remaining now is blue or red pill Damien?
Maybe both, with extras in case it gets really exciting!
Love the poem and also that you're now appearing in my feed, so I catch these when they land :)
